DESCRIPTION:Saturday 7th  Castleton Silver Band 6pm start\nSunday 8th   Hathersage Band 6pm start\nSaturday 14th Whitwell Brass Band 6pm start\nSunday 15th    Dronfield Band 6pm start\nSaturday 21st Cressbrook Band 6pm start\nSunday 22nd Rockingham Band 6pm start\nTuesday 24th December  – CHRISTMAS EVE Fairfield Brass Band\, Buxton 4pm start\nAll the concerts* start at 6.00pm (*EXCEPT FOR CHRISTMAS EVE) and will usually finish between 7.00 and 7.15pm. (4pm -5pm 24th)\nThe Gates open at 5.15pm (3.15pm 24th)\nMulled wine and Mince pie on arrival.\nTHERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES AT THE CAVERN. The nearest facilities are in the Main Village Car Park\, 500m from the Cavern.\nIt can get very cold at the concerts so please dress for the Arctic!!\nTicket prices are £12.50 for adults – £11.50 for concessions – £10.50 for children (5-15 yrs) – infants do not require a ticket but we ask you to sit them on your lap.\nWell behaved dogs are welcome\nTo purchase tickets please visit Peak Cavern website.

SUMMARY:Christmas tree festival
DESCRIPTION:This is our 11th Christmas Tree Festival and two years ago it appeared on the BBC “Countryfile” programme.\nWe have about 50 trees decorated by local  groups\, shops\, caverns and businesses. We also offer refreshments – tea\, coffee\, squash and mince pies and christmas biscuits.\nIf you wish to remember loved ones at this time you can write on a star and put it on our prayer tree. Hope to see you at his lovely event.\nThe festival runs from 16th November until 15th December in Castleton’s St Edmund’s Church.\nSunday to Friday 12.30pm – 5pm. Saturday 12.30pm – 6pm.
